The Republic Celebration is the Italian national day and it’s celebrated on the 2nd of June. This day commemorates the universal suffrage institutional referendum on 2nd and 3rd June 1946, by which the Italians were called to decide on the form of government (monarchy or republic) to give to the country after the fascism fall.
